I leak…. I have tried cotton reusable pads…and hated them. I was kind of skeptical at first since I hated the cotton reusables so much and also because I have very sensitive skin and a child with extreme allergies, so I was nervous how both of us would react to them. That particular fear was quickly eased when I received my package and was able to read about the care of the breast pads, which was very easy, and I also read that the breast pads sort of self clean because of the lanolin in them.
Lanacare Wool Breast Pad Review
Washable Woollen Breast Pads
Wool Nursing Pads are a more natural, eco-conscious product for every nursing mother. These wool pads are incredibly soft and soothingly comfortable. Most women need only 2 pairs of the Original for their entire nursing experience. Unlike traditional cotton nursing pads, The Danish Woolen Original Wool Nursing Pads contain natural lanolin to keep skin dry, promote breathability, and help heal sore nipples. We often associate wool with scratchiness and irritation, but the Danish Woolen Pads are unbelievably soft, non irritating, and actually soothing with their natural lanolin content.

Danish Woolen Delight Lana Wool Nursing Pads
So the week before last was national breastfeeding week here in the UK. As you might know if you follow the blog, I have been fortunate enough to breastfeed Caspian from birth without any major issues. I had heard of cotton ones, wool, and even some made of bamboo, but I had never really considered investing in reusable ones.
I used NUK washable pads for awhile. They worked fairly well, but not like the disposable pads. I had to change them 3 times a day.
